L-Arginine is a non-essential amino acid which in times of stress, such as slow healing wounds, can become essential.

L-Arginine is important for wound healing because of its role in collagen synthesis, preventing muscle loss and strengthening wounds. Supplementing a healthy diet with L-Arginine can aid the wound healing process.

Enprocal Repair is formulated to contain all the key nutrients required to aid in the body’s wound healing process such as L-Arginine, vitamins and minerals (zinc, Vitamin C and Vitamin E). Zinc is needed to provide a strong cell structure for skin regrowth. Vitamin C is needed to strengthen the immune system and Vitamin E is needed to protect the wound from further damage.
